One of our favorite astronomical events occurs today, as there is a total solar eclipse. Of course, you may have heard the news a few days ago, but in case you forgot, we remind you: the appointment is today, April 8, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. In Spain it appears at most 5%So we do not enjoy a very good view.

What percentage of the solar eclipse on April 8 will be visible in Spain and in which communities?
Unfortunately, the total solar eclipse will only be visible in three countries. Mexico, USA and CanadaAlthough in these last two it will depend on the area. However, this does not mean that we will lose completely in Spain.
In our country we can enjoy the eclipse on April 8, but partially. It is the Spanish communities that can enjoy this event. Galicia and the Canary Islands, a view between 1% and 5%.
