What does Creative Live Webcam look like? Cam Sync 4K?
Unlike most webcams, Creative Live! Cam Sync 4K has a rectangular shape and a fairly slim body. It is made of plastic and has a black color, which looks very beautiful in any setting. Its lens has a privacy cover to cover the camera and prevent it from being recorded when not in use.
Integrated, this webcam has two microphones for recording audio, allowing you to make video calls without buying a separate microphone. The camera has an LED in the upper left corner that only indicates the microphone is on. Camera indicators are two light bars on either side of the lens that illuminate when recording.
At the top of the webcam is an on/off switch. The switch turns the microphone on or off, and the button activates the Backlight Compensation (BLC) function, which adjusts the camera’s exposure to the right amount of light if the scene is overexposed (too bright) or too bright.
Around the lens is a ring that, when rotated, allows you to manually adjust the focus to keep the camera always focused on you. As we mentioned at the beginning, this camera is plug-and-play, which means it is ready to work on your Windows, Mac and Chrome OS PC just by connecting it. By the way, it connects to the USB cable measuring 1.8 meters.
One of our favorite things about this webcam is that it comes with a universal portable clip to keep it on your computer monitor or laptop screen. Additionally, in the closed position, the clip allows you to use a standard quarter-inch spigot for attachment to tripods.
Thanks to the mounting clip, it supports a fully adjustable 360° horizontal rotation and 30° tilt. In short, it’s a very versatile camera that you can place on a tripod to record from anywhere or simply mount it on your monitor for multiple recording angles.
How does Creative Live Webcam work? Cam Sync 4K?
Creative Live! Maximum recording quality. Cam Sync 4K Ultra HD (2160p) with a frame rate of 25 frames per second. You can also set it to record in Full HD (1080p) at 40 FPS, as well as in 2K at 25 FPS or 720p at 40 FPS. This is made possible by the 8MP Sony IMX415 sensor with a 95º field of view.
How well does it register? The quality is very good for the price. Obviously, it does not offer the image quality of a professional camera, but it records well with good quality and resolution. Of course, we must say that the 4K resolution does not translate into a significant improvement in video calls and streaming, because most applications do not support this resolution.
Similarly, while the microphones work well and are mostly free of background noise, this camera’s audio recording can sound distant and metallic. If anything, their microphones are better than those built into laptops.
We must also warn that the performance is not good in rooms with little light. The function of BLC helps to improve the light, but it does not work miracles. The videos are very noisy and lose detail. Even using external light, if the room is dark, noise will remain in the image.
We like the BLC feature when you need to adjust the too bright backlight that makes video calls look dark. It works great and is very useful, although we warn you it doesn’t work magic. If the contrast caused by the backlight effect is too strong, the webcam will not be able to correct it completely.
We found manual focus to be one of the most useful features with the ring. It is very easy to focus in seconds by rotating the ring twice. This gives you the confidence to move freely without worrying about losing focus and not being able to regain it.
It has an app with very cool functions.
Creative Live! Cam Sync 4K has an app called Creative where you get many more features that enhance the video calling experience. In particular, we show these two functions:
VoiceDetect: A feature that automatically picks up your voice when you speak and mutes it when you’re done. This allows you to focus on your speech without having to worry about manually muting and unmuting the microphone. NoiseClean-out: This feature removes unwanted background noise from your own end of the call, so others can hear you clearly. This is ideal for use in noisy environments such as coffee shops.
You probably don’t think about these features when you buy a webcam, but you’ll appreciate them in the long run. They really make your life a lot easier and allow you to make more professional video calls.

Creative Live! Cam Sync 4K is a webcam that offers excellent image and sound quality as well as a series of features ideal for video calls, streaming and video recording. It’s very easy to use, comes with a mounting clip that makes it very versatile, comes with two integrated microphones and includes a very practical focus ring.
However, remember that we are dealing with a webcam and not a professional camera. This means that it is not free from such camera problems: noise in low light, 4K resolution without many details, etc. The backlight compensation function works well, but it doesn’t work miracles. Despite all that, we think it’s a great webcam for all kinds of uses. It’s the price. 79,99 euros.
