Oclean X Ultra S doesn’t compromise on design. Similar to other electric toothbrushes on the market, this one is not bad. Its compact, cylindrical shape with a smooth finish allows for a comfortable and pleasant grip. Also, it doesn’t feel heavy at all. The only problem is that toothpaste or oil stains are very marked on it.
Other than that, we think the build quality is impeccable. It has an IPX7 certification, which means that it can withstand immersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes, so you can wash it without any problems. We didn’t test the drop protection, but it seems to withstand minor impacts.
The 0.96-inch screen is actually protected by glass, so it won’t get damaged by water. It uses a touch OLED panel with really high brightness and vivid colors that allow you to see the information displayed by the brush without having to get too close.

One of our favorite things about Oclean X Ultra S is the travel case. It’s rigid, so it protects the brush well, and it has a USB-C port for charging without removing it from the case. If you want to charge wirelessly, you can use the wireless charger that is included in the box and charges the foot brush, as shown in the cover photo of this review.
And if you have it in your home, it is better to leave it on the included wall that allows you to hang it magnetically on the wall of your bathroom.
The box also comes in three different head types, although we honestly don’t find much difference between them. All three use the “FlexFit” technology, which basically gives the head some flexibility to reach hard-to-reach areas and clean from a better angle.

Oclean X Ultra S has a 3.0 Maglev motor that can provide up to 84,000 movements per minute with high power. And what it shows: it effortlessly cleans your teeth in seconds. But the most interesting thing is that, despite its high power, it does not feel uncomfortable in the mouth due to the stable vibration.
It gives you several weight levels and cleaning profiles, but the truth is we didn’t notice much difference between them. You will feel the difference between the maximum force and the minimum brushing force. Our advice is to use the lowest power if you have sensitive gums, but if you don’t have this problem, always use the highest power, taking care of the pressure you put on the teeth.
The AI advantage in Oclean also tells you to change the brushing position if you stay in the same position for 30 seconds. It’s so helpful because it’s like having an assistant by your side who will always remind you how to brush properly.
Unfortunately, Oclean X Ultra S’s AI can’t do anything else. Some think that Oaklin has not used the full potential of this technology, but in reality there is not much that an AI can cover in this field, because it is irresponsible to put people’s oral health in the hands of artificial intelligence. And not a doctor.
What does the Oclean X Ultra S app look like and why?
All brush information is conveniently and in detail displayed in the Oclean X Ultra S application from your mobile phone. It’s the same app that all the brand’s smart brushes use (Oclean Care+), but this time it connects using Bluetooth and WiFi. This allows for updating usage data and detailing the quality of cleaning and areas that were not properly cleaned.
In the application, you can do the same as the touch screen, but following a short questionnaire, you can customize the type of cleaning according to your needs and get reports of your oral health, especially based on the results of brushing. . By the way, both the app, voice and brush can be saved in Spanish.
It should be noted that the brush application is compatible with Android and iOS and also allows you to update the Oclean X Ultra S firmware with the latest news released by the manufacturer.
How long does the Oclean X Ultra S battery last?
According to the brand, Oclean X Ultra S has an autonomy of up to 40 days with regular use (brushing about four times a day). In our tests, battery life was around 35 days. When Wi-Fi is turned off, it will definitely reach the promised autonomy, but it will definitely show that it can be used for a month without a charge.
As for charging, it takes 4.5 hours to charge from 0 to 100%. But if you leave it on the wireless charger every time you’re done brushing, you’ll never have to worry about recharging (although this practice shortens battery life).
