What is VerifEye and how does it work?
VerifEye, developed by Converus, is a free application that acts as an easy-to-access lie detector. Although Converse hasn’t officially stated that the app uses AI to detect lies, it’s reasonable to assume that some form of artificial intelligence is responsible for recording a person’s eye movements to determine whether or not they’re telling the truth.
Converus shared on its official VerifEye page that this app studies eye movements without consent, as Converus claims that a person’s eyes move differently when they are lying. This method is foolproof and that’s why VerifEye claims that the results are 80% effective.
To take a reality test with VerifEye, the app will show you a short tutorial on what to do before you start answering questions. Basically, you have to answer the questions the application asks you by turning the phone a certain distance in front of you and flipping it. Each test lasts approximately 5 minutes and consists of true or false questions.
