Even though the software updates that Android mobile devices regularly get include improvements and new features, there are times when phone manufacturers make serious mistakes. Samsung’s issue is specifically with the update launched on the Galaxy A23 model.
There are thousands of Galaxy A23 users around the world who are reporting problems, because overnight their mobile device has become unusable.
The Galaxy A23 terminals have become a “waste of paper” after adding some improvements to the overall performance of the device, as well as adding new functions to the Samsung One UI interface.
A new software update killed the Samsung Galaxy A23
Those users who upgraded the Galaxy A23 expecting to get new features and performance improvements were surprised that the terminal was permanently damaged.
Personally, I experienced this “big mistake” on Samsung’s part as my phone became unusable. Without any caution on the part of the South Korean company, I started downloading the update, thinking that I would get new features. To my surprise, the phone became an expensive waste of paper because I couldn’t turn it back on.
I didn’t see any errors when the update started downloading and then started the installation process. Things went from bad to worse when the phone restarted, because from the exact moment my Galaxy A23 screen was black and I couldn’t turn it back on.
What to do if Galaxy A23 is updated and not responding?
Although Samsung’s support website indicates various procedures that can be performed to solve the problem, the reality is completely different. I have tried to restore it and nothing works as reported by the mentioned website.
In other words, forget about factory reset, entering safe mode, or taking it to a specialist technician… nothing works. After two whole days of trying to find a solution to this issue, my advice is as follows.
Contact Samsung official support through their contact channels and explain what happened.Wait for Samsung to respond to the terrible mistake they made with the Galaxy A23 update.
In my view, Samsung should replace the damaged phones with this update or they should do some kind of free help to restore the terminal.
Haven’t downloaded the update on your Galaxy A23 yet?
If you’re one of the lucky ones who decided not to download it, we recommend disabling automatic updates by following these steps.
Enter the settings of your Galaxy A23 mobile and enter the “Software Update” section.
Disable the “Automatic download over Wi-Fi” option and you can leave this screen when the button is grayed out.
Last but not least, if your Galaxy A23 mobile tells you that there is a new software version, you should ignore it. Currently there is no solution in this regard, so it is important not to install any updates.
