Redmi 14 Pro and 14 Pro+: two very powerful mid-range phones
The new Redmi 14 Pro and Redmi 14 Pro+ presented by Xiaomi are two brothers that seem identical, but They have some more than notable differences.
Both terminals share the same screena curved AMOLED that reaches a peak brightness of 3000 nits. Furthermore, it supports both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
As if that wasn’t enough, Its dimensions reach 6.67 inchesa large panel that allows you to perfectly enjoy multimedia contents. The icing on the cake in this case is the protection that Xiaomi has provided to its screens, thanks to Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
A design that makes you fall in love
As for the design of both phones, we can see some differences. For example, in the Redmi 14 Pro+ we observe a unified camera modulewhile in Redmi 14 Pro a module with separate cameras stands out.
Another notable difference is the choice of materials. Xiaomi opted for synthetic leather in different shades for the 14 Pro (very surprising), while The Redmi 14 Pro+ has a glass finish.
Power and storage far above the competition
If we dive into the inside of both phones, we can notice it The processor chosen by the Chinese company for each terminal is different. The Pro model has a Dimensity 7300 Ultra chip from MediaTek, a beast that can compete head-to-head with any other mid-range processor.
On the other hand, the 14 Pro+ model relies on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, a chip that should offer similar performance. At this point, andThe 14 Pro model could be a great option if you want to spend less and have relatively similar power to that of the 14 Pro+.
We can also find some differences in terms of internal memory, since the most powerful model, the 14 Pro+, goes up to 16GB RAM + 512GB storage (powered by UFS 3.1).
For his part, The Redmi 14 Pro offers a maximum of 12 GB of RAMwhich is accompanied by 3 storage versions with UFS 2.2 type memories (noticeably slower in writing and reading information).
Photographic section more than acceptable
There are many differences in the cameras of both phones (especially those located on the back). In the Note 14 Pro+ model we find a 50 megapixel main sensor accompanied by a telephoto lens 2.5x magnification (unusual for this range). It also has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (the Note 14 Pro also has this lens).
For its part, the Note 14 Pro has a slightly smaller 50 megapixel main sensoralthough his optics are a “in a pinch” brighter. In this case the third sensor is occupied by a 2 megapixel macro.
All day battery
Another marked difference between these two terminals is in the battery and its fast charging technology. The Note 14 Pro+ has a 6200 mAh battery with 90W fast charging The Note 14 Pro has a 5500 mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
