According to a report by The Elec citing a representative of Samsung Electronics, the Galaxy S24 series is said to debut at an Unwrapped event in San Jose on January 17. Interestingly, Samsung has chosen San Jose as the location for a product launch, which is the first time that the city is home to the headquarters of Apple and Google. The choice of this position can be interpreted as a strategy of close cooperation with Google and direct competition with Apple.
Although San Francisco (USA) and Seoul (South Korea) were considered as possible locations for the Galaxy S24 launch event, the final decision was San Jose. In the past, the company has held unwrapped events at the New York Galaxy, but for the next launch, it looks like it will take place in Apple’s “backyard.”
