What does the Eureka E10s robot look like?

As you can see in the pictures, the Eureka E10s has a black round shape with a combination color between matte and glossy. On the top, there’s a power button, LED indicator, and a LiDAR sensor that lets you move around your home logically without breaking or dropping.

At the bottom are two large side wheels for jumping over small obstacles, a central wheel for turning, two side brushes for edge sweeping and a central roller for cleaning and dirt collection brush. All the components are solidly built and it feels very premium.

It also has a tank that can store up to 200 ml of powder and 220 ml of water. This cover can be easily removed by holding the pink buttons. Once you take it out, you can either fill it with water (you have to remove the pink cap) or replace the integrated HEPA filter (although it can be rinsed with water if not used often).

The mop is basically a cloth attached to the bottom of the robot that is wet to clean the floor. This mop can be raised by around 10 mm to wet carpets.

The most interesting thing about this robot vacuum cleaner is the charging station, which at the same time is the self-emptying base. When the robot finishes cleaning or needs to be recharged, it returns to its base, which, in addition to recharging the battery, removes all the dust from the tank and makes it as good as new. The base can store up to 45 days of dust and dirt without having to be manually emptied. This greatly reduces the need for maintenance on the robot.

In addition, there is no need to buy bags that represent economic and ecological savings. The station has a compact, quiet design and connects to the robot via a magnetic port. It takes up no space and looks great in the house.

How does the Eureka E10s robot vacuum and wash?

Eureka E10s high suction power 4000 Pa, which allowed us to collect dust, food residue and even remove dirt from carpets without problems. Of course, remember that it has four adjustable drinking levels. You should turn it to high power to clean the carpets thoroughly. The bad thing about this is that the noise rises above 65 dB, which can be considered disturbing in quiet rooms.

Similarly, it offers four levels of water flow for cleaning, although we cannot remove stains or stuck dirt even at the highest level. It’s clearly not a robot designed for cleaning. You can do it, but it will only help you after vacuuming the dirt-free floors. Even so, we find it to be a very useful activity as it leaves the floors much better than just vacuuming them.

As for its smart features, the Eureka E10s’ LiDAR navigation lets you create detailed maps of the area and plan the most efficient way to clean each room. It measures distances well and quickly detects obstacles. In addition, thanks to the ability to store up to 4 different maps of your home and set up virtual walls in order not to clean restricted areas, it will carry out the cleaning program very well.

Its app is very complete and easy to use.

Now, how is this robot controlled if it only has one button? The application of the brand name “Eureka Robot”. Just install it on your mobile phone and follow the instructions to connect it to the Eureka E10s via WiFi. Once you connect it, you can monitor the robot in real time, configure cleaning modes and scheduled cleanings, and set up virtual walls.

One of the best things about this robot is that you can control it with voice commands via Alexa or Google Assistant. Additionally, you can vote in Spanish to receive alerts and notifications.

How long does the Eureka E10s robot battery last?

Eureka E10s has a 5200 mAh lithium battery that allows it to work for up to 180 minutes in silent mode, which is enough to clean an area of 200 m². But if you use it at maximum power, the battery life will decrease to 100 minutes.

Either way, it only takes an hour for the robot to clean all the rooms in the tiny house, so it won’t run out of battery in the middle of cleaning.

Is the Eureka E10s robot vacuum cleaner worth buying?

Eureka E10S Self Emptying Robot Box And Base
The Eureka E10s robot and self-emptying base come in separate boxes

The Eureka E10s robot vacuum cleaner has a powerful 4000 Pa suction that allows it to easily vacuum up pet hair and carpets, a bagless self-emptying base that saves you 45 days of cleaning the pool, and navigation Smart LiDAR that lets you map your home and avoid obstacles.

It also has some weaknesses, we do not deny them, such as the high noise level in high power mode (like all models) and the inability to remove difficult stains by cleaning. expenses €479 (usually on sale for €400), so the decision to buy depends on your needs and preferences. If you can afford it and want a self-emptying robot, we recommend it 100%.
