If you are a fan of Xiaomi wearables, you may be waiting for the global launch of the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro. This device was introduced in China in the middle of this year and has not yet left the Asian giant. Many people are waiting for it as it offers a series of improvements compared to the basic model (Xiaomi Smart Band 8) that came to Spain and other markets.
But we have good news for you: Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro is about to reach the global market. How do we know? Well, because the bracelet was recently spotted at a certification event in Singapore, along with two other devices from the brand: POCO M6 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 13 4G. This indicates that Xiaomi is preparing to launch these products in other countries, although there is no confirmed date yet.
Based on this certification, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro is heading to the global market.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro has the model number M2333B1 and is a low energy product with Bluetooth connection according to IMDA certification. Unfortunately, no further details about the specifications or price have been revealed, but we can assume that they will be the same as the Chinese version.
What does Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro offer? Well, it’s a smart bracelet with a 1.74-inch AMOLED screen and a resolution of 336 x 480 pixels. The screen has a maximum brightness of 600 nits and offers over 100 dials for customization. In addition, it has Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, 5 ATM water resistance and NFC.
Functions include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen measurement, sleep monitoring, menstrual cycle monitoring and more than 150 sports. The battery is 289 mAh and provides up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge.
How much does it cost? It launched in China at a starting price of 399 yuan (about 51 euros in exchange). We don’t yet know how much it will cost in the global market, but we hope it will be competitive and attractive to users looking for a complete and functional wearable.
