Samsung mobile phones are unique in many areas except autonomy. We’ve known for years that the battery is the Achilles’ heel of the Samsung Galaxy, which often disappoints users of these phones. High refresh rate of the screen
Samsung has already implemented high refresh rates across its entire smartphone catalog. When we talk about “high rates” today we mean anything above the 60 Hz level. While both Samsung’s mid-range and high-end use 120 Hz screens, we see phones with 90 Hz in the lower range.
While Samsung’s most advanced displays can change the refresh rate under certain conditions to reduce power consumption, in active use they can consume up to twice as much power as a standard 60 Hz display. By following these steps, you can disable your Samsung’s high refresh rate to gain autonomy.

Brightness is very high.
Brightness is one of the main causes of poor battery life for any device with a screen, but in this modern age of smartphones, the effect of brightness on battery life has grown exponentially. In three years, the maximum brightness of the high-end Samsung Galaxy phones has doubled, and the efficiency of the processors has not improved at the same rate.
As a result, we have cell phones that look better and better, especially outdoors, but their battery life is shorter than before. Fortunately, the solution is very simple: try not to turn the brightness of your phone to the maximum, do it only when you really need it. Typically 50% brightness is more than enough for everyday use.
Processor is not properly upgraded.
Some processor models are known to have poor energy performance, and unfortunately, this affects Samsung mobile phones. The most notable issue was the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which had a heating problem and to this day remains the main reason for the low battery life of the S22 series.
Recent phones like the S24 and S23 FE also suffer from this problem due to their different processors. Since you cannot change the processor, my recommendation is to adjust the processor speed to reduce the consumption of the chip in this way.

Low capacity battery
Although it’s true that since the S24 series, Samsung has been giving us good capacity batteries, we can’t deny that many of the mobile phones it launched before have too small a battery for what you need. We have the case of the S22 which has a battery of only 3700 mAh and in my experience lasts less than 1 day of normal use (which is the least we should ask from a smartphone today). The same goes for Samsung Folds, which usually have smaller batteries to keep the device weight down.

The battery is not properly adjusted.
If you have a Samsung that has been used for many years, your “batterystats” file may not be working as it should. This file is responsible for telling the operating system the battery charge percentage and if it doesn’t work properly it can give you false readings. For example, it can show that the battery is at 100% when it is very low. This causes the phone to disconnect from the charger prematurely and gives the impression that the battery is draining quickly.
