That is why, recently, Amazfit introduced the new AI Zepp Flow to its products.
The event took place at MWC 2024 where attendees were able to learn a little about what this new AI represents. Like ChatGPT or Gemini from Google, this resource can respond to requests made through chat or speech. Several models of Amazfit watches are accepted and they will have their support to help the user with various questions or queries.
What is Zep Flow on Amazfit watches?
The new AI works locally for Amazfit watches. That is, you don’t need an internet connection or a connection to your mobile phone to run a zip stream. As a conversational AI, it is equipped with all the tools to interpret people’s words and respond with what is suggested. You don’t need to receive direct commands to find out what you want, which makes the interaction more human than in the case of Alexa.
You just need to press the crown button to activate this AI from your Amazfit. From then on, the AI will be active and listen to what you want to say. You can check this by looking at the bottom of the sphere where a green wave representing the AI in question appears.
Although it generally doesn’t require an internet connection to run Zep Flow, it does ask some pre-screening questions. For example, when you ask for the weather or about a topic you need information on to process the response. Anyway, it is a very useful assistant for these watches.
