Poco Will Merge Its Website And Application With That Of Xiaomi

Through a press release published on the POCO websiteXiaomi has notified that they are reorganize itself to be able to offer a better service to its users and a much more unified experience of its brands.

Until now, POCO’s website and mobile app operated independently to those of Xiaomi and Redmi (who were together). This has somewhat limited purchasing, support, and other user experiences.as they had to move between platforms, as needed. Xiaomi noticed the problem and intervened. What did they do? Let’s summarize it in several points:

  • Reposition all pages of products, personal center, reviews, customer service, after-sales and more from POCO from the domain po.co/es/ towards www.mi.com/es/.
  • Repositions all the features and tools of the POCO Store within the Mi Store app.

And the dates? According to Xiaomi things will happen like this (for both the app and the website):

  • Sales via the POCO website will cease starting October 21st 2024, so it will not be possible to place new orders.
  • Data migration complete from the POCO website to that of Xiaomi will take place between 21 October and 12 December 2024.
  • Starting December 12, 2024 will be all POCO products available on sale on the website www.mi.com/es/.
  • Starting December 12, 2024, product reviews, customer service, a people center and more will be available. Obviously, on the Xiaomi website.
  • On October 31, 2024, POCO websites will be closed.
