It’s been a couple of months since the Google Pixel 10 launched, and many of us have known what that means for a few years: Google is already working on the economical versionthat of Serie A, and the rumors begin to circulate.
Until now, we didn’t know any further details about the Pixel 10a. However, a leak has just been revealed almost all the features and design of the Google Pixel 10awhich you will find if you continue reading.
The Pixel 10a could be very similar to the Pixel 9a, even in the processor

In an exclusive publication for Android titlesfamous leaker @OnLeaks has revealed a lot of information about Google’s upcoming budget mobile phone.
The leak also includes renders of this device, allowing us to see things like these: First, that Its design will be almost a carbon copy of what we saw in the Pixel 9aalso in size; second, that the body will be plastic (as before); and third, that there will be a very striking electric blue version, although it may just be a matter of rendering and the blue will eventually be lighter.

But design is only what attracts attention because it is what is visible, but what is truly substantial is in the technique.
The proof of this is that the leak indicates that the Pixel 10a will bring the Tensor G4 chip in an improved version and not the Tensor G5. If it were true, it would be a huge surprise, because the A series has always repeated the SoC of the standard series. And what is this change due to? That the Tensor G5 (TSMC) is significantly more expensive to produce compared to the Tensor G4 (Samsung).
The additional thickness (9mm vs 8.9mm) also indicates an increase in battery, so we could get just over 5100mAh. This, or is it just a necessity to be able to use the file 6.2 inch screenas they say, without sacrificing battery capacity. Just because, The Pixel 10a would be a real compact phone.

And speaking of the screen, it is expected to use a P-OLED panel, frequency of 120 Hz and the same Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2424 pixels) compared to the Pixel 9.
Now, Is there any other data leaked? Yes, it seems that way the cameras will be the same (48 MP + 13 MP on the back and 13 MP on the front). And although there are no greater certainties in this regard, the same would happen with RAM (8 GB), storage (128 GB/256 GB) and charging power (23 W wired and 7.5 W wireless).
Of course it is a fact that Google Pixel 10a will require Android 16 and will have seven years of guaranteed updates.
When will the Google Pixel 10a be released? Will it be worth buying?
Some media and leakers suggest that Google will launch the Pixel 10a before the end of 2025. However, this is not typical and We believe this will happen in the second quarter or late first quarter of 2026 (with a lot of luck). Why? There are several reasons:
- The latest generations were launched in the second quarter of each year, giving enough time to reduce production costs and for the regular series to sell enough.
- The second quarter of the year doesn’t feature as many launches important and more space to gain prominence. Furthermore, the first and fourth quarters are dominated by flagship launches.
- The last quarter of the year is the one with the highest number of sales across much of the planet due to Black Friday, Christmas and the end of the year. It’s the big opportunity for flagships.
Now, And the question of whether it will be worth buying or not? If it turns out that the final specifications are so similar to those of the Pixel 9a, only a very competitive price would make us recommend it. Otherwise, we believe it won’t be worth it.
But if there are significant changes between now and launch (remember these are rumors/leaks, not facts) we may change our minds.
