All the new features that OriginOS 6 releases on Vivo devices
OriginOS 6 arrives with a visual redesign that completely updates the experience on Vivo devices. App icons are now circular and widgets feature rounded edges, providing a more modern and consistent look. Added to this are real-time blur effects and stacked notifications that improve visual clarity.
But without a doubt, one of the most surprising additions is Atomic Islanda function inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island that will allow you to control music or manage the stopwatch without leaving the home screen.
Under this new aspect there is also a significant leap in performance. The Blue River Smooth Engine is Vivo’s smooth engine and in this version takes full advantage of Android 16. Thanks to technologies such as super-core computing and photonic storage, it promises noticeably smoother animations and transitions and a more immediate tactile response and scrolling without dropped frames.
The lock screen is also completely renewed: includes multiple widgets, a dynamic Flux themevisual effects like “light and glass charge” and more flexible font customization, plus optimized icons for dark mode.
Artificial intelligence is another of the pillars of this update. OriginOS 6 integrates practical tools such as a AI phone assistant, ability to remove objects from photos and even live photos, and Circle to Search 2.0 functionalitywhich lets you search for anything directly from a screenshot. There is also an AI image editor that not only improves resolution and removes unwanted elements, but can intelligently convert images to PDF.
To top it off, the control center has been completely redesigned, offering Customizable quick settings for more intuitive access. Along with a new lock screen dedicated to music control, OriginOS 6 arrives as a comprehensive update that aims to be smoother, smarter, and more customizable than ever.
