Vivo’s new “S18” series is a bit confusing. And this mobile phone family cannot be pigeonholed in the market. In fact, there is a mid-range mobile, a mid-range and a high-range. Below we leave a technical sheet with all its specifications.
Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro bring curved AMOLED screens, rugged cameras and AuraLight ring
To begin with, it should be mentioned that Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro have the same design, screen, battery and charging. And both phones have a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 2800 nits. In addition, they have a 5000 mAh battery and 80 W fast charging.
Now, the Vivo S18 has a mid-range processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, coupled with up to 16 GB of RAM. Also, another differentiator is that it has a dual rear camera with a 50 MP main sensor. In addition, under the sensor module is the “AuraLight” system, the intensity and temperature of the rectangular LED light can be configured.
On the other hand, the Vivo S18 Pro comes with a high-end chipset, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200+ with up to 16 GB of RAM and a 4023 mm² VC unit. And in photography, thanks to a triple rear camera with a 50 MP Sony IMX920 main sensor, a 50 MP ultra wide angle and a 12 MP telephoto lens. In addition, it has IP54 protection against water and dust.
The Vivo S18e also has a 120 Hz AMOLED screen, but with slightly less power and autonomy.
Vivo S18e is the mid range of this new series. The screen is still AMOLED at 120 Hz, but in this case it is flat, slightly smaller (6.67 inches) and less bright (1800 nits). And as for the processor, it comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 coupled with 12 GB of RAM.
And although it only has a dual rear camera, the main sensor is the 50 MP Sony LYT-600, a new Sony sensor with dual-layer pixel technology that captures much more light. Finally, it should be noted that it comes with a 4600 mAh battery and 80 W fast charging.

The Vivo S18, Vivo S18 Pro and Vivo S18e are now available for purchase in China from the manufacturer’s website. At the moment it is not known when it will start in Europe and the rest of the world.
