Instagram just launched a new feature which, although small, is attracting a lot of attention among younger users. This is a new feature exclusive to teen accounts allows you to change the app icon directly from the application itself.

Meta wants Instagram to continue to be an app close to the young audienceand this innovation is part of this strategy. Now, users with teen accounts on iOS You can choose from six different icon designseach with their own style: fire, floral, chrome, cosmic, slime and a classic design that maintains the traditional aesthetic of the social network.
These icons were created in collaboration with illustrator Carlos Oliveras Colom (@doncarrrlos) and the Instagram design team, who say they wanted it “pushing the boundaries of the logo” TO offer a more creative and personalized experience.
How to change Instagram icon step by step?
The procedure to follow to change the icon is extremely simple, even if at the moment it only works on iPhone and teenager accounts:
- Open the Instagram app.
- On the main screen, hold down the text for a few seconds “Instagram” which appears at the top center of the screen.
