Samsung is preparing to make official its new series of high-end Galaxy S25 mobile phones, which will be made up of the usual trio (S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra) plus a possible unexpected fourth model which will bear the name Galaxy S25 Slim. The announcement is expected to take place on January 22, although you don’t have to wait that long to find out. Prices for the Samsung Galaxy S25 in Europe were recently leaked All the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra have just been revealed.
Please note, this is not an official revelation, as the person who shared this information is Yogesh Brar ina person who doesn’t work for Samsung, but who he usually does well with these types of losses. Brar hasn’t revealed all the features of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but he has revealed a good handful that give us a good idea of what Samsung’s flagship will look like by 2025.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra naked: all its features leaked
According to the leak, the Galaxy S25 Ultra I won’t try to reinvent the wheel. It will retain many of the features of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, while upgrading its processor to the latest Qualcomm. Take a look at the leaked specs for yourself so you can evaluate them:
- Screen: 6.8″ LTPO AMOLED panel with QHD resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite with Adreno 830 graphics.
- rear camera: quad 200MP (main) + 50MP (ultra wide angle) + 50MP (periscope) + 10MP (telephoto).
- Selfie camera: 12MP.
- Memory– Up to 16GB RAM + 512GB storage.
- Drums: 5000 mAh with 45W fast charging.
- Operating system: A UI 7 based on Android 15
Of course, we still need to know some key details to know whether the Galaxy S25 will be a good successor or not, but this leak doesn’t bode well for anything new. It looks like Samsung does It will keep the screen, cameras and even the much-criticized battery and fast charging intact.. Furthermore, if the design leaked in September by OnLeaks via Android Headlines True, don’t expect anything revolutionary even from an aesthetic point of view, apart from a new rounded edge in the corners and more pronounced edges around the cameras.
The good news? That includes the Snapdragon 8 Elite and up to 16GB of RAM, so in theory it will offer 30% to 40% more performance than its predecessor. This is something that Samsung’s AI could take advantage of, but I don’t think it will be such a crazy step.
It is also worth highlighting the change in the ultra wide-angle sensor which will go from 12 MP to 50 MP. We’ll have to see how this improves the photo quality of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, as we remember that more megapixels does not always translate into better photos.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is also expected to feature the new resistance standard IP69which is one of the characteristics that will be trendy in 2025. But tell us… What do you expect from this new Samsung mobile phone?
