As usual, this year’s Mobile World Congress is ending with the Global Mobile Awards (GLOMO) event. These are awards given at the end of each issue and reward the best devices presented at this international technology show.
Well, the mobile that was established as the best phone at the Mobile World Congress 2024 this year is not from Apple, Samsung or Xiaomi. It is correct, although it seems surprising Google took the Globe for the best smartphone at MWC 2024 With Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

The Pixel 8 series has been awarded the best smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2024. This is a significant win for Google, as the devices beat out other strong contenders such as the iPhone 15 Pro, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and OnePlus Open.
Now, this award is not surprising. Remember that the Pixel 8 was a pioneer in advanced AI functions that most new flagships on the market are now incorporating.
Additionally, they have great screens, cameras and come with up to 7 years of support and accessories, which is a historic feat in the Android phone sector.
