Cmf Watch Pro Review

Review del CMF Watch Pro: ¿un Apple Watch Ultra por solo 75 €?

CMF is a sub-brand of Nothing. We have already seen that the CMF Buds Pro headphones fail in their principles because their design is, at least for us, too basic. However, their smartwatch called CMF Watch Pro has an attractive look, but… is it a good smartwatch?

Coming from the company that created the great No Phone (1) and (2), it’s the first smartwatch to hit the market, so there’s a lot of anticipation surrounding the CMF Watch Pro. The price is less than 100 euros, so it can be a very attractive option for many users. Therefore, we decided to find one and analyze it in depth to tell you if it is worth it.

CMF Watch Pro review: 1.96″ AMOLED panel, Bluetooth calls and integrated GPS

Cmf Watch Pro Unboxing
This is the box that the CMF Watch Pro comes in.

The CMF Watch Pro is probably not a high-end smartwatch as you might expect from its price. It’s a watch that’s comparable to budget models like the Redmi Watch 3, so don’t expect it to be on par with the Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch or Pixel Watch. Check out its specs to know its capabilities:

The CMF Watch Pro has a metallic finish and design similar to the Apple Watch.

What we really like about the CMF Watch Pro is its design and quality. Its case is made of aluminum alloy with a gray anodized finish. It looks gorgeous and feels premium.

The strap is 22 mm wide and can be gray, black or orange and is made of soft silicone that is pleasant to the touch. The whole set weighs 47 grams, which seems like a good weight to us. We didn’t find it heavy or uncomfortable when using it for everyday use and exercise.

The strap can be removed and worn easily. Charging the watch is also easy as it has two charging pins on the back where you only need to place the magnetic charging cable included in the box. By the way, this box only includes the watch, the aforementioned cable, the strap, and the user manual.

On the right side, the CMF Watch Pro has a button that lets you turn it on, go back, open the menu, and pause workouts. Next to the button are several holes that are the output of the integrated speaker. Also, on the other hand, there is another small hole for the built-in microphone. These last two features enable Bluetooth calling.

And on the back, you have the heart rate and SPO2 sensors, which are displayed with green and red LED lights when you wear them to measure these health parameters.

In terms of resistance, it has an IP68 certificate: it is completely protected against dust and supports full and continuous immersion in water (up to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes).

The CMF Watch Pro screen is pretty cool.

The CMF Watch Pro has a 1.96-inch (410 x 502 pixels) 332 ppi AMOLED non-touch display with 2.5D curved glass and is impressive for its price range. The refresh rate is 60 Hz and the brightness is over 600 nits, making it suitable for outdoor use. It looks perfect in full sunlight!

The screen has a wake-up alert feature and an “always on screen” option with 8 different patterns. The only downside is that it doesn’t offer automatic brightness adjustment as it doesn’t have an ambient light sensor. Therefore, if you want to save energy and not always leave it at the maximum level, you have to change the brightness yourself.

This screen is touch-sensitive and allows you to use the watch intuitively. The Quick Settings menu can be accessed by swiping down from the top of the watch screen. This menu includes various functions such as night mode, flashlight, brightness adjustment, power saving, wake-up and settings. Additionally, swiping up from the home screen reveals widgets that display all kinds of activity and health information.

Similarly, you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen to see notifications, even if they don’t respond directly from the watch. A shame, really.

You can also press the side button to get a list of functions such as exercise, exercise records, heart rate, blood oxygen, activity, sleep, stress, phone call, music, remote camera, time, breathing, voice assistant, stopwatch, timer. You can. , alarm, flashlight, find my phone and settings.

What can you do with CMF Watch Pro?

Functionally, the CMF Watch Pro is a basic smartwatch with some advanced functionality. Here’s what you can do on time:

Bluetooth Calls: After pairing with your mobile phone, you can receive and answer calls directly on the smartwatch through the built-in speaker and microphone. It sounds great and the microphone is decent. Fitness Tracking: Has 110 training modes and integrated GPS to track outdoor activities without having to carry your phone with you. It uses 5 GNSS systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and Beidou) very effectively, because in our tests the tracking did not stop for a moment and the accuracy is good. Sleep tracking: It can track all stages of sleep but not the quality of breathing. Also, if you wake up in the middle of the night, the monitoring will not continue, but will start from the beginning. Heart Rate, SpO2 and Stress Monitor: It can produce good heart rate and SpO2 readings compared to oximeters. Stress data is also available, but must be enabled manually. By the way, it is possible to enable 24 x 7 heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, but it drains the battery very quickly.

In addition, it has several basic applications: calculator, mobile playback control, weather, mobile and clock indicator, alarm, voice assistant, camera shutter, stopwatch and flashlight. Likewise, it has an application for Android and iOS mobile phones called CMF Watch, which allows you to personalize the smartwatch and view the measured data.

Cmf Watch Pro App
This is the CMF Watch Pro mobile app.

From the CMF Watch app, you can download additional faces, view your battery level, check exercise tracking, view measured health data, and view sleep data in detailed graphs.

In the app, you can add up to 20 contacts for speed dialing and turn on notifications for any apps and incoming calls. Similarly, there are options to set a walk reminder, water reminder, alarm and more.

How long does the CMF Watch Pro battery last?

It has a 340 mAh battery that can last up to 13 days on a single charge with normal use or up to 11 days with heavy use. But in our tests, 7 days of heavy use (including 24 hours of SPO2 tracking, 3 hours of GPS, and two Bluetooth calls) completely drained the battery.

Please note that battery life varies depending on different conditions (use of GPS, brightness level, use of always-on mode, use of features, etc.). Therefore, in our experience, autonomy varies between 7 and 13 days.

As for fast charging, it takes about 2 hours to fully charge from 0%.

Is the CMF Watch Pro worth buying?

CMF Watch Pro is a useful smartwatch if you want to track your physical activity and health, as well as answer Bluetooth calls. It’s not as advanced as the Apple Watch Ultra or Galaxy Watch, but at the price we didn’t expect it to be.

What impressed us the most was the quality of the screen and the metal body with a premium finish. It costs €85.32 and you can get it in cash only during AliExpress Black Friday (until November 29, 2023). 75,32 euros Using the coupon ES10 And the next button. Highly recommended at that price!
