Redmi A3 dares to leave the boring design aside, to compete with other brands in the lower price range. Now, its closest relative is about to arrive, and the leaks aren’t long in coming.
The new Redmi A3x has been revealed in every way, thanks to a recent leak from SpillSomeBeans website. The handset we got is identical to the Redmi A3, except for three crucial differences. We will tell you everything below.
Redmi A3x: All the most important features
In terms of screen, the Redmi A3x has a 6.71-inch screen with an LCD panel, HD+ resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The battery is similarly 5000 mAh with 10W fast charging, but there are different features that make the Redmi A3x a slightly different option: the camera, the processor and the available colors.
The camera, for example, comes with a 50MP main sensor on the rear, with a second unspecified secondary sensor. It is remarkable that the design of the rear photography module is very similar to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is the brand’s attention. The front features another selfie camera, 5MP with nothing new to offer. It includes a USB-C port, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones.
On the processor side, the Redmi A3x carries the Unisock T603, leaving aside the help of MediaTek and changing the option. It also comes with 3 GB of RAM (expandable up to 4 GB). The color department is also different, as this model does not come with a green vegan leather option, or a blue option, but all the options remain with the classic rear glass.
In this regard, the Redmi A3x carries the green version, but is being named differently, Aurora Green. The other colors are moonlight white (white) and midnight black (black). Neither the exact launch date nor the price is known, but it is known that it will come with Android 14 out of the box.
