It has managed to carve out a niche in the market thanks to low budget phones with more than decent specifications. Although not as slow as you might expect. And, just five years into the world of smartphones, the brand is now celebrating 200 million mobile phones.
Sky Lee, the founder of Realme, happily announced the victory. By some quick calculations, it can be estimated that Realme sold around 40 million smartphones annually.
The appeal of Realme’s highly acclaimed mobile phones will be key to this win.
It is not very difficult to understand the secret behind Realme’s record. And this brand is known for introducing mobile phones with attractive specifications at amazing prices. The Realme 11 series, for example, surprised by bringing a good photography department, with a decent processor, without even reaching 350 euros in the Pro+ version.
On the other hand, the Realme GT5 has been well received, offering beastly specs (like 34GB of RAM) at a price between 380 and 480 euros. It is currently expected to be the best gaming mobile of 2023, Realme GT5 Pro. The device packs Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 inside, which ensures more than enough power for any video game.
So it looks like the road to Realme holds a lot of other good news. The company wants to compete with other big brands like Xiaomi, Samsung and Apple. Among their new features, it remains to be seen if they find the right hook to increase sales worldwide.
