- You can close the app by simply closing the window. To open it again, go to the “My Games” section of BlueStacks and the icon to run it will be there. What I like about this emulator is that it creates a shortcut to NewPipe so that it just looks like another program on your computer.
This way, you will only have to open the BlueStacks emulator every time you want to use NewPipe on your PC. The app works quite well with this method. The only problem is that it will consume a lot of resources on your PC.which isn’t good for something as simple as watching YouTube videos. Therefore, I prefer the following method.
Install FreeTube – it’s basically NewPipe for PC
FreeTube is an open source program very similar to NewPipe designed specifically for PCs. Many call it “NewPipe for PC” because it is identical in functionality. It has no ads or background playback limits, lets you subscribe to channels, and even has a built-in SponsorBlock to skip sponsored moments in videos.
