Bad news for Kodi fans. One of the most popular add-ons for watching free content has announced its closure. Kodivertir, which hosted hundreds of sports broadcasts, movies, series and even TV channels on Kodi, it started to stop working after its administrators revealed that for “personal reasons” they can no longer move forward with the project.
«Sometimes it’s better to know when to stop» reads the press release signed by the Kodivierte team in which they thank the community, with special mention to the Luar team, for the support that the addon has received over the years. Kodivertir no longer works: why?
The official reason for the closure of Kodivertir is personal reasons. Its team of administrators announced this via a statement posted on Telegram which we report verbatim:
“The Kodivertir group and its administrators have decided to close for personal reasons. It is not possible to continue and sometimes it is better to know when to stop. It was a pleasure to be with all of you every day where we spent very nice moments and where we all learned and were helped by others. We want to leave a special thanks to the Luar group, which always welcomed us from the first moment and helped us so much. We will continue to see each other in the groups as always”.
Interestingly, this announcement comes the day after Telegram will confirm a rather controversial change in its policieswith which agree to share users’ personal data with the government upon court order. This will undoubtedly cause problems for all those users who use Telegram to illegally distribute copyrighted content, including add-ons like Kodivertir.
