Available on all Android mobile devices, Google Lens is a very useful tool which allows you to copy the text of an image, search for a product or even see if a photograph was obtained from another site.
Thanks to the latest updates received by this tool, it has been possible to know a feature that automatically detects if an image was created with artificial intelligence. Available in several countries (it is gradually spreading throughout the world), using this new tool is very simple:
- First you have to open the Google application from your mobile device.
- Once inside the app in question, you need to Click on the Google Lens icon (located to the right of the microphone icon).
- You will have to Select the image you want Google Lens to analyze.
- Once you have shared the image, you will need to swipe the screen up.
- Therefore, you need to click on the option that says “About this image”.
- Google Lens will start searching for matches on other websites.
- If the image is real, It will show you the date it was first used.
- On the other hand, if the image was created with AIwill indicate that it is less than a year old.
- Likewise, it will include the acronym “TO THE” so you know that image was artificially generated.
It’s worth adding This feature is only present in the latest version of the Google app for Android. If it still doesn’t appear on your phone, you’ll have to manually update the app from the Google Play Store.
