The first thing you need to know is that, as such, there is no flag in Gmail to indicate that a particular email is important. However, there are options such as adding high priority, important or urgent words to the email subject, as well as bolding and capitalizing the email subject.
What to do to mark an email as important in Gmail?
Although Google doesn’t have a default option to mark email as important, a third-party email manager might. For example, it is known that in Outlook (Microsoft Email) you can mark an email as low or high priority, but this option only works on the platform in question.
As we said, there is no default method for marking an email as important in Gmail. However, you can achieve this if you use Gmail accounts. The method is as follows.
Find an email in your inbox and click the checkbox on the left to select it.Click on the “Names” button in the toolbar, a menu with many options will appear, but all you have to do is “Create New” and name it “Important”. create”
