The first thing you need to know is that Kodi is not yet available in the Web OS App Store, but rather in the Developer App Catalog. But don’t worry, the installation is very easy. You need a PC and follow these steps:
Before you start, you should Get developer status on LG. To do this, you need to go to this link, click on Sign in and then create an account. Here you have to complete the steps to create an LG developer account. Remember to save your username and password.
Now, on your TV, download the Developer Mode app from the Web OS App Store.
Once installed, open the Dev Mode app and log in with your LG Developer account by entering username and password. Next step is to activate the Dev Mode Status option. Doing so will restart the TV.
After your TV restarts, go back to the Developer Mode app. Now you need to make sure that the Dev Mode Status and Key Server options are active, the next thing is to copy the IP address and passphrase shown on the left side of the screen, leaving the application with the TV. The next steps.
