One of the most annoying things that Instagram has recently added to the app is the messaging feature. Now, for some accounts it is not possible to send direct messages without your approval. If you have access to a computer, there is a very easy way to delete an invitation sent on Instagram. You just have to do this.
Enter the Instagram website from your computer’s browser.If you haven’t done this, go to the chat and go to the message request you want to delete, and to delete it, place the cursor on the message and then click on the three vertical dots that appear next to it.Click Cancel Send.

Can the invitation be canceled so that the other person does not see it on Instagram?

Open Instagram and go to your profile by tapping on your photo in the bottom right corner.Scroll down and select account type and device option, switch to professional account and follow the suggested steps and that’s it, go back to the account you sent the request to and you won’t see the invitation sent to you. You can send notifications and messages.
To remove your professional account and switch back to your personal account, go to Instagram settings and select “Professional controls and tools” and tap Change account type > Switch to personal account.
