Artificial intelligence has taken control of content on the Internet. Nowadays it is practically impossible to navigate social networks or video platforms without coming across a video created with artificial intelligence. Some are really funny, but others are annoying.
Well, if you don’t like videos made with artificial intelligence, TikTok has launched a feature that will surely come in handy. Through yours official blogthe chinese social network has announced a new option for Reduce or remove AI-generated content from your TikTok feed. Below we explain how to use it.
How to block AI content on TikTok
TikTok is testing a new tool to reduce o remove AI-created content from the feed. This option is not available to all users, but if testing is successful it will be rolled out to everyone.
It’s a filter that you can activate from the settings of TikTok avoiding videos that the platform detects are made with artificial intelligence (thanks to a new detection tool) and those that are labeled by their creators as AI-generated. Here’s how to activate it:
- Enter the application TikTok.
- Go to the section Profile and here click on menu button (≡) from the top right corner.
- Now come in Settings and privacy.
- Once here enter Content preferences.
- The next thing is to go inside Manage themes.
- Here you will see different categories of videos with a bar to adjust the number of videos displayed with said content. Well, look for the category Generated by artificial intelligence Yes slide the bar to the left. Here you have two adjustable levels, one for reducing the content and another with which you can remove it completely from your feed. Choose what you want and you’re done.
