What does the GameSir X4 Aileron controller look like?
GameSir X4 Aileron has high-end build quality. After all, it’s an officially licensed Xbox controller. It is made of matte black plastic and molded rubber pads on the handles to prevent slipping.
It’s not the most ergonomic mobile controller I’ve ever seen in my hands (the GameSir G8 Galileo still holds the throne), but it’s very comfortable and I was able to use it for several hours without fatigue in my hands. Does it have any disadvantages? Yes, it’s not as stable as other controllers, although I didn’t experience any issues or irritations while playing.

Smart power on and off
Each remote control unit has a green clip that holds the mobile firmly in place. The amazing thing about these clamps is that when they are turned on, the control automatically turns on. And when you download it, the control turns off because it knows you haven’t used it. It’s a simple idea, but it’s very useful to prevent the remote control from turning on and thus save battery.
Is it possible to turn it on without removing the clamps? Yes, you can use it as a standard Bluetooth controller. To do this you will need to force the ignition as described in the GameSir X4 Aileron User Manual.
You can customize the buttons, levers and crosses as you like.
As for the buttons, use the official Xbox controller layout. That is, it has two asymmetric levers, ABXY buttons, menu button, view button, RB, LB, RT, LT back buttons, share button, Xbox button and a directional pad or joystick.
It also has two buttons on the back that allow you to change the effect and brightness of the RGB lights on the joystick, as well as two buttons that allow you to change the shooting modes and the order of the ABXY buttons.
It should be noted that the box includes two pairs of additional levers of different sizes that can be easily installed by lifting the installed rods. You have to pull a little until they come out.

How does GameSir X4 Aileron work?
As we mentioned at the beginning, GameSir X4 Aileron connects to your mobile via Bluetooth. To pair it, pair both parts of the controller with the mobile and then press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds. Then simply turn on your phone’s Bluetooth and select the controller from the list of nearby devices. Once connected, you can start playing with compatible games or customize it with the GameSir app.
The process is flawless. All buttons respond quickly and do not take much to press. It is worth noting that the lifts have a Hall effect, which means that they do not have sliding problems (irregular movements). In addition, they have anti-collision sliding rings, which provide smooth control.
The triggers are unique because they offer dual operation: you can use them in analog mode (ideal for competitive games where you need to distinguish different speed levels) or in “hair trigger” mode (great use in FPS games, for example). , because it recognizes the printer with a slight touch without delay).
Although the connection between the controller and the mobile phone is via Bluetooth, we didn’t notice any lag while playing. When playing with cloud game services (Game Pass and GOCF Now), we don’t experience lag or high lag that affects the experience.
It is compatible with mobile games that do not support controllers
