Samsung has just released the sixth generation of its Galaxy AThe company has introduced the Galaxy A06, its most modest phone for the new wave of devices that will find their place in the low or mid-range, depending on the model.

The Samsung Galaxy A06 is the same Galaxy A05, but with a faster screen
The new Galaxy A06 is a phone that changes very little compared to the Galaxy A05, which is something that many users will surely criticize. Its design is practically the same, except for two things: first, the rear camera lenses are a little larger; second, that It features Key Island to make the use of the keypad more intuitive.
The screen is also repeated, although it is not an exact copy of the 2023 one. The Galaxy A06 makes an effort to 6.7 inch PLS LCD panel with HD+ resolution like its predecessor, but start 90Hz refresh rate. This is the biggest change from the Galaxy A05 and it’s more than necessary when the competition has been running between 90Hz and up to 120Hz for a long time.
What about the internal hardware? There are no changes in this, as the Galaxy A06 comes with a MediaTek Helio G85, among others. 4 or 6 GB of RAM and between 64 or 128 GB of storage space. Yes, the software evolves to include Android 14.
The cameras are the same as last year, with a 50MP sensor and another 2MP on the backplus an 8 MP one for selfies. And the battery? More or less the same thing: an ability to 5000mAh with 25W fast charging. Does it retain the headphone jack connector? Fortunately, yes.
AS, Is the Galaxy A06 the same Galaxy A05 with one change? You might say yes.
