Google Play Store has a strict policy regarding the location of its users. Of course, the Android Store doesn’t allow you to change countries easily unless you’ve moved and made sure you haven’t changed your account’s region recently.
Because of this, if you go to Settings > General > Account & Device Preferences > Country & Profiles in the Play Store to change the country, it won’t let you do it. But don’t worry, I found a quick and easy solution to change country on Google Play without a credit card.
If it does not allow you, how to change the country on Google Play Store
Can’t change the country in play store from settings? The solution is to create a new payment profile in the country where you want to change the store. How do you do this? as follows:
Tap Google Play Store in the top right corner.
Go to More Payment Settings It will direct you to your Google Account Payment Center Once you’re signed in, go to Settings.
Touch Country/Region and then touch Continue and then select the country you want to change and on the next screen complete the desired address and finally touch Send.
Now, to go back to payment center settings, click on Show profile Click on Payment profile for Google Play and select the new profile you created with your desired country.
Ready! In this way, Google Play will be the country you selected in the new profile and when you need to pay for something in the store, you will be charged in the selected country. Of course, remember to add a payment method that matches the selected country. Typically, an international credit card will do the trick, otherwise you’ll need to top up with Google Play gift cards.
How to change country on Google Play from PC
The procedure is the same as what we described before, only on PC you have to access the Google Payment Center from this link from the browser. You can then create a new payment profile with the country you want in the same way we showed you earlier.
