Bezeus, the ever-popular manufacturer of accessories, gadgets and tools, has revamped its docking stations with a new series called Spacemate. And we’ve already reviewed the Baseus Spacemate 11 in 1 in-depth in our review. This new hub is designed for those who want to use their computer or laptop with multiple monitors, gathering all the cables in one place.
It’s very different in both form and purpose from the Baseus Dockstation 12-in-1 and 6-in-1 we’ve tested before. So, if you have such a docking station, you may still be interested. It’s the best hub for a setup with more than two screens, though it has some drawbacks that you can’t ignore. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves and go step by step. get started!
Baseus Spacemate 11 in 1: A docking station that brings together all your multi-controller PC cables.

The Baseus Spacemate 11 in 1 is a docking station or hub that connects to your laptop or desktop computer’s USB-C port. It has a total of 11 ports, the most interesting of which are three HDMI ports that allow you to connect to any computer, Mac or Windows. Here we leave a technical sheet with all the details:
The Baseus Spacemate 11 in 1 is a small tower with a height of 120 cm and a thickness of 65.51 cm. It weighs 485 grams, which makes it heavier than the average docking station you find on the market. And it is not to be taken with you from one place to another, but it is designed to be placed on a table or desk next to the monitors. Even so, there’s nothing stopping you from taking it on your journey.
Like other similar Baseus products, this hub has a gorgeous metal finish and excellent build quality. It looks like an expensive tool. At the bottom, it has an adhesive to keep the base on the table without moving. This base can be magnetically separated and attached to the rest of the body to change the orientation of the center as and when needed.

The most interesting detail in the Baseus Spacemate 11 in 1 design is the front LED screen, which shows real-time information about each of the ports. It tells you visually which ports are in use and which ones are down. I find this very useful, especially when many cables are connected and I don’t remember what I connected, other companies have to copy.
By the way, this center does not have power supply. You just need to connect it to your PC port using the USB-C cable and then it will take the necessary power to work. This allows you to better organize the cables in your setup and avoid messing with adapters or plugs when you move them around.

Another unique element of this case is the lock button located at the top. When you install it, it locks your computer so that no one else can access it. This feature is compatible with both Windows and Mac (one touch is required to lock on Windows, but double-tap the key on Mac) and is an added feature that I appreciate in terms of privacy.
The only problem I can say in terms of design is that the USB-C cable is not removable. If it gets damaged for any reason, you can’t easily replace it.
A wide variety of ports, but… are they enough?

As we mentioned earlier, this docking station has a total of 11 ports. Nine of these are on the front, with charge-only USB-C, three HDMI, a 3.5mm jack, three USB-A ports (two 2.0 and two 3.2) and an Ethernet input with gigabit speeds. On the front, it has another USB-A 3.2 port and a 10 Gbps USB-C port.
With these ports, you have everything you need to seamlessly connect up to three displays to your Mac or Windows PC. However, I miss some inputs that other hubs have, such as an SD card slot or a DisplayPort connection for modern displays.
What can you do with the Baseus Spacemate 11 in 1?

Although we’ve already told you about the main function of this dock in this review, it wouldn’t hurt to review what each of the ports does.
HDMI: Used to connect your laptop to a monitor, projector or TV. Supports up to 4K resolution and 60Hz refresh rate (even when connecting three displays simultaneously) USB-A: Universal connection for USB devices such as keyboards, mice, monitors, microphones and more with transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps (Yellow 3.2 only).USB-C Data : Use this port to connect USB-C devices, benefiting from a transfer speed of up to 10 Gbps. USB-C charging: allows you to charge your laptop or MacBook with up to 85 W (with a 100 W charger). You can charge a MacBook Pro battery to 100% in 2 hours. Please note that this is only a power input port (100W charger not included) Connect audio devices such as headphones or speakers to the 3.5mm connector.
Important: We tested the “MAC” hub of this hub, which supports three displays at 4K and 60 Hz on both Mac OS and Windows. However, there is a cheaper “WIN” version, but limited to only one screen in Mac OS and up to three screens in Windows at 4K/30 Hz or 1080p/60 Hz.
Is Baseus Spacemate 11 in 1 (MAC) worth it for your PC?

The Baseus Spacemate 11 in 1 is the perfect hub for multiple display setups. It offers three HDMI ports that stream up to three displays simultaneously at 4K at 60Hz. In addition, it has a lock button for more security and an LED screen that shows current information about the status of the ports.
The build quality is impeccable and it is 100% compatible with Mac OS and Windows. So, if you don’t mind the lack of an SD card slot and want to have an organized setup with three monitors, this is the perfect hub for you. Of course, remember that its official price is € 219.99. It’s worth it, but I’d wait for a discount if I were you.
