Ultralight, slim and elegant design

Unlike other cheap tablets I’ve tested, the AGM PAD T1 has a thin and elegant design. Its thickness is just 7.35 mm and it weighs 477 grams, which is not much considering that its screen alone measures 11 inches. I was surprised its metallic finish and its not very wide framesWell, they are two qualities that we rarely see in the price range of this tablet.

It is only available in gray and with a silky back cover that offers a soft and pleasant touch. The truth is that it is comfortable to hold and take anywhere. Note that its camera module is square and discreet, similar to that of the iPhone, but with a single sensor. In short, the build quality and design of this tablet is a 10 out of 10.

This tablet doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel, offering you only the necessary buttons and connections. It has a power button and a volume button, a 3.5 mm headphone jack (conveniently located in a corner), a USB-C charging and data transfer port, and a tray compatible with two 4G SIM cards or a 4G SIM + a micro SD.

What is included in the box? AND 10W chargera USB-C cable, a book-style case that in addition to protecting the tablet serves as a support for it, and a SIM tray extractor. It’s a shame that it doesn’t come with a more powerful charger, but we understand that sacrifices had to be made somewhere to get such a low price.

Good screen to watch Full HD content

The screen of the AGM PAD T1 measures exactly 10.95 inches, which would be 11 inches rounded. has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (Full HD+), a pixel density of 207 ppi and a typical brightness of 350 nits. But the most important thing is that it has Widevine L1 certification to play 1080p content from platforms such as Netflix and Disney+.

We are not going to fool you: it is not the best screen we have seen on a tablet, mainly because it does not have HDR or a high refresh rate (it is 60 Hz). Nevertheless, What could you expect from a tablet worth less than 160 euros? For what it’s worth, I think it is a high quality panel for watching movies and series in Full HD+although it is not ideal for high-performance gaming because it is not compatible with games at 90 FPS or more.

The resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels suits its 10.95″ screen very well

On the other hand, its sound is not spectacular, but it complies. It has two speakers, located at the ends of the tablet, to offer you real stereo sound that faithfully reproduces the songs and film productions that you want to enjoy on the tablet. And if you are not convinced by its speakers, you can connect headphones to its 3.5 mm jack to play lossless audio.

Cameras and performance that meet, without further ado

We have little to say about the AGM PAD T1 cameras. It uses basic 13 MP (rear) and 5 MP (front) sensors that They fulfill their function of taking decent photos, but with obvious weak points: no quality zoom, visible noise even in natural light, inaccurate color representation, etc. Now, since I really didn’t expect this tablet to replace my cell phone for photography, it’s not something that disappoints me.

Yes, I am disappointed by its Unisoc T606 processor with 8 cores, 12 nm and 239,703 points in AnTuTu that offers low-end performance. More than anything because it is accompanied by only 4 GB of RAM (expandable to 8 GB with virtual RAM, but it doesn’t make a big difference), which greatly limits what you can do with the tablet.

It is not suitable for medium-demand 3D games, nor for multitasking that involves using multimedia editing applications. Even so, It hasn’t given me any problems when watching videos, browsing with Chrome, using TikTok and using messaging apps. As long as you don’t ask too much of the tablet, you won’t experience lag or any type of performance issue.

Of course, we want to highlight that the AGM PAD T1 comes from the factory with Android 14 and It has no unnecessary apps or pre-installed advertising. It provides a fairly simple and pure Android experience, which benefits fast and smooth performance of everyday tasks.

By the way, this tablet also has GPS, 4G mobile connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 5 and a USB-C port OTG compatible. Ah! And it comes with 128 GB of storage that can be expanded up to 1 TB easily with a micro SD card.

How long does the AGM PAD T1 battery last?

The AGM PAD T1 comes with a 7000 mAh battery and the manufacturer says it lasts all day. In practice, It lasted about 10 hours with the screen on doing various activities (playing videos, reading, browsing, taking photos, etc.). So, yes, you could say that it lasts a whole day with medium use.

The bad thing is that are charger is only 10W and it may take up to 3 hours to fill the battery from 0 to 100%.

Is the AGM PAD T1 tablet worth buying?

The AGM PAD T1 is an economical tablet with a price of €159 and a thin, light and elegant design. It has an 11-inch Full HD+ screen that is perfect for watching movies and series, as it is 100% compatible with Netflix, Prime Video and similar services. It uses a Unisoc T606 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable up to 1TB) which does well with basic tasks, but falls short with more demanding tasks such as gaming and multimedia multitasking.

It also has a 7000 mAh battery and runs on Android 14 with Google services and a simple interface. Although it is not a tablet that stands out especially in any section, it offers excellent value for money and may be what you are looking for if you only need a light tablet with a good 11″ screen to watch videos in Full HD+ for not much money. Recommended!

On Amazon right now you have a €40 coupon to take it for just €119a price that honestly seems absurd to me for a tablet of this quality. Take advantage of the offer with this button:
