As scheduled, POCO X7 and X7 Pro have just been officially announced a completely new design compared to its predecessors, POCO X6 and X6 Pro, as well as with extra power and battery to conquer the mid-range in terms of quality-price.

POCO X7 and X7 Pro are similar phones, but with big differences. The main one you can see at a glance (the design), although the most important for many is inside. The POCO X7 Pro has a processor that is up to 2 times more powerful than that of the POCO X7. POCO X7, changes brains for a MediaTek and loses the 3.5 mm jack
The POCO X7 comes with the Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor and an AMOLED screen 6.67 inches with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz reaching a maximum brightness of 3000 nits. As for the cameras, it has three: a 50 MP main one, an 8 MP ultra wide angle and a 2 MP macro. Additionally, it has optical image stabilization (OIS) on the main camera and a 20MP selfie camera.
The battery capacity is 5110 mAh with 45W wired charging support. The brand guarantees it maintains 80% of its capacity after 1600 cycles, which is equivalent to more than four years for general use. While it ships with Android 15 out of the box, it does so with the first iteration of HyperOS which has a limited set of AI features.
The phone is available in several colors, including silver, green and black with yellowand the memory options are 8+256 GB or 12+512 GB, with LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 technologies. It also has IP68, NFC, infrared and other certifications fingerprint scanner integrated into the display. Unfortunately it doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack like the POCO X6.
POCO X7 Pro, the Redmi 4 Turbo for the global market
The POCO X7 Pro is basically the Redmi Turbo 4 for countries outside of China and with POCO’s signature colors. It has a Dimensity 8400 chip and a 6.67 inch AMOLED screen. This display offers a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 3200 nits.
The main camera on the back is 50 MP with OIS and Sony IMX882 sensor. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The phone has a 6000mAh battery and 90W wired fast charging. Unlike its smaller sibling, it comes with HyperOS 2 operating system, based on Android 15. Likewise, it has extras like IP68 protection against water and dust, NFC, infrared and dual frequency GPS. There are three color options (black, green, and yellow) and three memory options (8+256GB, 12+256GB, and 12+512GB).
POCO X7 Pro Iron Man Edition, the variant for Marvel fans
Finally, we have the surprise of this launch, namely the collaboration between Marvel and Xiaomi. The “POCO X7 Pro 5G Iron Man Edition” is the third variant in the series and comes with a Completely different back cover, made of plastic and customized by Iron Man. It’s deep red, with gold details and the logos of the aforementioned superhero and The Avengers. Furthermore, it comes in an Iron Man themed packaging. Naturally, its specifications are the same as the POCO X7.
